FaceBook-MetaVerse.

Metaverse. The concept is nothing new, though. If you have seen a film like Matrix , or Real Player One, you will easily know what it entails: a virtual reality space that people can enter and access through the use of a gadget or a device. Think of a video game, say Fifa, or Minecraft. The player controls a character or the events on the screen with the help of commands and buttons. Now, what if, instead of sitting at the console and watching the game unfold on the screen, the player could be inside the game, participating not from the outside but as a character embedded in it? WHAT WILL I BE ABLE TO DO IN THE METAVERSE? It’s a concept that involves an online world where people can interact with others, collaborate and communicate virtually, without needing to be in the same space. For example, you can be in New Delhi and your family may be in Kolkata, but you could enjoy a dinner together sitting around the same table. It’s like Zoom or Google Meet on steroids. Instead of staring at

Nicknamed the "Anti-Google Law", it has resonance beyond the country's borders and is one of a kind right now. What is Anti-Google Law ? South Korea's assembly passed an amendment to the country's Telecommunications Business Act, which stops firms like Google, Apple from forcing developers to use their built in payment systems for selling subscriptions and other digital items through Play Store and App Store. It also prevents app marketers from unfairly delaying the review of mobile content or deleting such content from their markets.  Google and Apple charge developers a fee for selling in app items like subscriptions, through app stores. Many developers, including billion dollar startups , have approached governments to intervene and stop this practice.  Recent documents unearthed as a part of an antitrust lawsuit accusing Google of a

Chemist Shop Products to Avoid. (2)

How often we go to a chemist shop to quickly fix a problem. After thoroughly researching I have selected four most common products that need your attention. I am highly impressed by some of these while others are not worth your hard earned money. Moov Moov is almost synonymous with pain relief in India. But is it worth the tag? Let's check the Ingredients. 25% of its ingredients are herbal and taken from Bhavprakash . While the other 75% gives texture to the cream are hidden, they can be synthetic or maybe toxic . I mean if they are safe why hide them? So why take a risk if we can apply 100% natural product to get an instant relief. In the same chemist shop Himalaya Pain Relief Oil is a safe pick. Very clearly they have mentioned the complete ingredients. Also Ayurveda Maha Narayan Oil is a safe pick too. You can select any from them. Boro Plus Got a minor cutting while cutting vegetables? Injured yourself while playing? Boro Plus is a popular choice isn't it.  But is it

Businessman Raj Kundra, husband of actor and businesswoman Shilpa Shetty, was arrested by the Mumbai police on Monday  in connection with an adult film racket. What is the case, and does Kundra face any other similar case? Case in which Raj Kundra has been arrested. On February 4 of this year, the Mumbai police said they had arrested five people for allegedly forcing women into porn movies. They would promise these aspiring actresses, who came to Mumbai from various parts of the country, roles in web series. However, on the day of the shoot, they would change the script and threaten the women to expose themselves. If the women refused, they were asked to foot the bill for the shooting preparations. Once the movies were shot, the accused made them available on mobile apps, offering subscriptions on the lines of mainstream OTT platforms. They would then put up advertisements on social media platforms. Since pornography is illegal in India, this too was against the law. How and where we

RBI Bans Mastercard.

Image
What has happened? The RBI has barred Mastercard Asia Pacific from onboarding new credit, debit and prepaid card customers with effect from July 22 as it failed to comply with data storage norms. Mastercard is the third card network to be barred by RBI this year, after American Express and Diners Club were similarly prohibited  from onboarding new customers in April. This leaves just Visa and Rupay as the only card networks allowed to take in new customers. But Why This Step By RBI? The data storage rule enforced in 2018 mandates that - "Payments system providers store the entire payment data in systems located only in India, except for processing cross-border payments." Data sent abroad for processing should be deleted abroad  within the prescribed timeline and stored only in India. Mastercard's Response. "While we are disappointed with the stance taken by RBI in their communication dated July 14, we will continue to work with them to provide any additional detai
