You would have listened the news regarding the medicine or I should say one of the medicine of Coronavirus "Hydroxychloroquine", it is not the only medicine there is one more medicine, but it is being discussed a lot in America. Since India make a lot of Hydroxychloroquine so Donald Trump called Modi ji and requested to provide these medicine to America.

Points To Note

  • As Trump mentioned: US is out of Hydroxychloroquine tablets. They are making some in the US.
  • US has ordered Hydroxychloroquine tablets from around the world and many other countries are sending them the tablets too.
  • India being producer of Hydroxychloroquine tablets can aid the US effort to contain Covid-19.

India Production Capacity

Presently the country's production capacity is 20 crore tablets every month.
India is a leading player across the globe in manufacturing HCQ with Ipca laboratories, Zydus Cadila and Wallace Pharmaceuticals as top pharma companies.

Hydroxychloroquine

First of all, this is not a precious tablet. It is a very common tablet and in India it's cost is about 100-200rs(Around). Don't take this tablet unless advised by the Doctor.
It is a less toxic derivative of chloroquine, another malaria drug, has emerged as one of the frontrunner.

In The News

The use of Drug gained traction after US president tweeted on March 21 about the use of cocktail of Hydroxychloroquine-Azithromycin as a "Big Game Changer in the history of medicine.

Conclusion

These two medicine are not healing Coronavirus, they are just not causing any person to cause breathing problem. But still it is advised not to take these tablets on your own. If India could export these medicine  to America in a huge amount (if it is a game changer) it can build the image of India across the globe. But we need China's help too, because from the chemical it is being prepared is in excess amount in China. So India can Airlift these chemicals from China and use this chemical to make these medicine to export. But firstly it should be imported in India if it is a game changer. This will help India enhance the reputation of its drug manufacturing companies.

In a recent tweet, Elon Musk has announced that the $44 billion deal of buying Twitter is on hold citing a recent media report that disclosed the number of bot accounts is lesser than expected.
