Is China The New Superpower?

USA became Superpower After World War 2 and expands its trade and emerged as the epicenter of the World.

Covid-19: Shift of Power from West to East.

• Covid-19 will also accelerate the shift in power and influence from West to East. 
• China reacted well after it's early mistakes.
• The response in Europe and America has been slow by comparison with China.

In the West side, Europe if we talk about Italy, I think I don't have to mention the figures, similarly Germany, Spain. America itself has the most number of cases of Coronavirus. Earlier when this virus was spreading Trump mentioned in his interview that this virus will not spread in USA, and if it does we'll fight back and will defeat this virus but we know the result.

Silk Road of Health.

It is being said that China created a demand and now it is fulfilling that demand. The same thing that USA did in WW 2, they provided military equipment to the world when they demanded. China is sending medical experts and supplies to help Italy fight against Coronavirus.

• White House Airlifts Medical Supplies From China in Coronavirus Fight.
• Medical supplies from China arrive to help Iran.
• China donates medical supplies to Canada, Embassy says.

China has exported:

• 3.86 billion masks.
• 37.5 million pieces of protective clothing.
• 16,000 ventilators.
• 2.48 million COVID-19 testing kits since March 1, with order to more than  50 countries.

American Power Will Need a New Strategy.

• In 2017, US President announced a new national security competition strategy that focuses on great-power competition.
• But USA isn't ready to compete.

1. Has more than 3 lakh cases.
2. New York(World Economic Capital) is epicenter.
3. Haven't reaced Peak of positive cases.
4. Death toll prediction of 2,40,000

• The US may slip into recession for at least two quarters.

China's Image.

The chinese government took considerable time to inform its own people of the emergence of Covid-19. The failure to inform the global community in a timely manner is being seen as the absence of collaborative intent on the part of China.

Outbreak turned into an epidemic and subsequently into a pandemic.

• WHO very much sided with China on Coronavirus, says Trump, calls it unfair.

Conclusion. 

Will China emerge as a Superpower after Coronavirus? Well I think its not gonna happen. Now we know that America isn't as Powerful as it shows, it has only military equipment which it can export. We need more health facilities. But the strategy China has used is almost unfair. It needs to answer to all the question mentioned above to become a Superpower. But if we look it an alternate view, at the time of Spanish flu there was no emergence of Superpower and as we know History repeats itself so you know what I mean right. So we'll USA as the leading power of the World but still China has the guts to become Superpower.
